Hello! :wave:

I've been in a bit of a slump this past week but am going to have to get on the ball quick b/c there's a lot of upcoming stuff.

It looks like I'm going to be visiting Japan twice this year so expect some photos to come!  The first trip will be May 30-June 2nd; I'm going to be presenting at an educational conference in Matsumoto and will be able to hit up Nagoya and Iida City, the latter being where I lived for three years as an assistant language teacher.  This trip is pretty much business only; I'm able to squeeze in a short side trip to Iida to see my old school, go shopping, etc. but that's about it. It's going to be a solo trip because of the schedule meaning the hubby is staying home. ;_;

After that I'll have 3 more weeks of class followed by 2 weeks of practicum presentation grading fun times, which unfortunately means I can't attend Cosplacon in Jeff City, Missouri.  Sorry guys, maybe next year. :/

Finally after grading practicum is over my summer will officially begin, and although it's only 2 months long it's going to be a full 2 months.

My husband Ryan and I are going back to the States for two weeks.  We don't have much of a plan to speak of, just see family, friends, go shopping, hangout, relax, etc.  If you're around Missouri let me know and maybe we could meet up.

After that it's back to S. Korea for us where I am going to volunteer at an English summer camp.  Essentially this means I won't see Ryan for about a month, save possibly a weekend trip home, but in the end I'm going to get a ton of experience teaching Korean K-12 kids, not to mention be able to hang out with friends like :iconscribbleyugi:, who is coming from the States on this program to teach English and experience the culture.

Finally with two weeks remaining before classes start back up I told my husband he could pick wherever he wanted to go and he chose Hokkaido, Japan.  So we'll be going back to Japan again for about 4-5 days, only this time to the northernmost island, where we haven't had a chance to visit yet!  To be honest I probably would've picked somewhere in Southeast Asia like Vietnam or Thailand, but after missing out on the first Japan trip, enduring a month without me, and taking classes to earn his B.A. I say he gets whatever he wants. ^^

I teach English education classes at a university in Seoul. In my spare time, when I'm not preparing the next lesson or learning more about the field, my husband and I go on adventures around the city and country, taking photos along the way.
