Osahime High School Entrance

This is the vocational school that I visit once a week on Tuesdays to teach English. Osahime has a business, architecture and civil engineering program, and is considered to be the 3rd highest level high school in town, which is very midrange. As far as higher education goes, kids are pretty divided here; some go on to college, others go to junior colleges or vocational schools, and others go straight to work, which can seem a lot like a school the way Japanese companies train new recruits. Interestingly enough, at least one student each year goes on to a manga school, voice acting college, or something else related to the anime industry.

Like Iida High School [link] the entrance to the school has a gate which is closed at night, has a large student entrance and a smaller teacher/guest entrance. One thing I forgot to mention is that all high schools have some kind of Japanese garden in the front, some with statues of naked women. Osahime has a plaque with it's exact coordinates for the architecture/civ students.
